restrict access to upload/download documents to/from solman

Hi,

We need to restrict the users from uploading/downloading documents to/from users desktop to the BPH (Solar01 and Solar02).

I doubt these could be done through roles/authorizations, but am not sure where to start with.

please advise.

Howdy,

I believe the SAP_SOL_RO_COMP [which is the read only profile] role restricts access to upload documentation in solar01...thus, inside of that role there is a profile which has this authorization check. I am not a security person, but it could possibly be in the T_AA210418 under the S_project subtree. Have your security person check it out. They should be able to find it for you, create a test ID w/ the restricted authorization, and you'll be on your way!
