I am working on a real estate implementation.Require one help on below issue.
Requirement is like one work center say excavation ,
Work is 5000 m3
Capcity of 1 labor is 15 m3/day
Duration is 5 day
In this situation we need system should calculate number of capacities as equal to 5000/(15*5)
In CJ20N for an internal activity I tried to use unit of measurement as m3 for work and normal duration in day system shown me error as
Message no. CN809
Is someone came across such issue. Please suggest me on this.
Dear Shrikrishna,
A workaround is as below
maintain the capacity of the work center for one person as 15 hours per day
in the activity screen in project builder enter the figure in work as 5000(cosider 5000m3=5000hrs)
enter the duration
note that maintain the work center capacity utilization as 100% if under work center there are 10 labours or 20 labours maintain it under individual capacity.
so while calculation system shall consider all factors and you shall get the output desired.
just convience the client with unit of measurement

Dear ShriKrishna
check the data maintained in the master data of work center
check with dimension of work and unit of work maintained please specify what are the values maintained?and then give a try

Thanks Sushrut and Sudhakar
@ Sushrut ,
I tried with maintaining work dimension and unit in scheduling tab of work center also I maintained conversion of unit of measurement in the capacity header but results are not positive.
@ Sudhakar ,
Using activity element will not help much as we can not calculate no of capacities.I need to calculate number of capacities based on work.
