Problem migrating 7.01 WebDynpro DC to 7.31.

Hi Experts,

I am facing a problem migrating 7.01 WebDynpro Java DC to 7.31. I am following the migration steps.

At the end of the migration -

1). The component inside the WDJ DC looks greyed out

2). The DC build is failing

Not able to get rid of #1 and #2.

Any guidance in the direction will be appreciated.

Hi All,

The problem was resolved. There was some issue with the NWDS or the machine we were using. We reinstalled the NWDS on another machine and everything worked like a charm.

Quick tips -

Be patient with the migration wizard, it takes some time even on good powerful machines

The real solution in our case -

Remove the old dependencies in red that show up in the DC dependencies, manually. Again this step takes some time for each dependency removal. The old dependencies that show up in red were stopping the build to happen.
