Sap webgui - High response time with IE9 and windows 7.

Hi guys,

we have upgraded our worktation to windows 7 with IE9. Our users complains high response time after migration.

We have tested the webgui with Win 7 and IE8 and the response time is accetable, but we can't downgrade the IE version.

We have tried to setup the compatibility with IE8 , but the issue persist.

Do you have any suggestion about resolve the issue ?

Hi

Kindly follow the steps in IE 9

1. To open the IE Developer Tools press F12
2. On left side change to the options "Emulation"
3. Change the "Documents modus" to 5
4. Change the "Browser Agent" to "Internet Explorer 7

Share the version of your SAP backend system, including EHPs, SPs and kernel patch level. Make sure SAP note 1926394 is installed in your system, otherwise SAP GUI for HTML (webgui) doesn't respect the document mode. Once SAP note 1926394 is installed in your system, see SAP note 1924378 on how to set the document mode in SAP GUI for HTML.

We have SAP ECC 6.0 EHP4 SP5 , Sap kernel version 7.01 patch number 118.

and respect Sap note 1926394 we are back.

We tried with firefox too, in this case the response time was fine.

Your SAP_BASIS (701 SP5) is so old that SAP note 1926394 can't be applied, SP15 is the latest. It might be a Unified Rendering (UR) problem. There are about 130 UR patches for your release. Apart from applying UR patches or updating to the latest SP level and kernel, there isn't much I can suggest for you to do. You can always create a customer incident to SAP support.
