Hi

After using wdr_acf_wlist the produced whitelist

is put in

C::\Users\my_name\AppData\Roaming\Sap

My question: is it possible to put this file anywhere else

on the organization network?

What about the JRE used by the applet that runs the ACF?

Is it also possible to put it in a central place for all

users to use even if they have another JRE installed

on their local station?

No. It must be stored locally( which contains authorized client directories of local machine).

From Netweaver 7.4, there is an enhancement to wdr_acf_wlist, which allows to access all client directories including network drives! Check this SAP Note for details: 1731458.

THank you for your answer regarding the

HOWEVER: is it possible to put it say on a C:\ drive

and not a user-specific folder?

Hi,

You can save the FrontEnd xml in other location using menu Security List -> Download. But, I guess the system tries to check the security list from the path Appdata\Roaming\Sap . Even all the front end configurations store in this path which is local.
