SAP Standard REST Adapter for PI 7.31 AE

Hello,

I'm currently evaluating the options to use SAP PI AE 7.31 as client of restful services.

Currently 2 options seem to be available:

1) 3rd party REST adapter from Advantco

2) SOAP adapter with Axis framework for synchrous GET requests

Refering to this information I would kindly like to ask the following questions:

Is it correct that SAP PI 7.4 is shipped with a standard adapter (not the 3rd party one from Advantco) for restful services?

Would this adapter be also available for PI 7.31 AE?

Just in case you have not seen this yet, SAP is shipping an inbuilt Rest adapter for PI 7.31-SP14

Hi Carlos,

The REST Adapter is available from 7.4 SP09. See note 2032345 for more details on this.

Hi Heiko - There is no standard adapter available from SAP for invoking restfull services.

Even the wiki which you are referring leads to advantco's REST adapter.

Hi Heiko,

As far as i know there isn't a rest adapter in SAP PI 7.4 neither SAP PI 7.31. However, you could work with rest services as Michal explains in his blog:
