BRM: What is the use of "Provisioning" step in default workflow???

Hi All,

I noticed "Provisioning" default step in default methodology. Initially, it was not incorporated in default methodology. I added this and made it as 8th step in default methodology to see any difference.

I created a new role using the default methodology and I could not find "Provisioning" step in the complete role creation process! Not sure what is the use of this step.

Anybody having any idea? Please share.

I do not see any effect of this step in the methodology. May I know what is its usage and how this should be used?

This is applicable to Business Roles. I have enabled Business Roles and tried to create one. I could see this step in my methodology, which was not shown while creating a single role.
