RFC lookup

Hi :

Can someone answer :

1) What do we mean by value lookups in SAP XI

2) AND why we need them?

3) HOW do we do RFC lookups.

If someone can tell me in detail how do we achieve it in real sceanrio ,that would be appreciated.

Hi,

if you mean value mappings we use them to convert one value

to another (only one to one)

you can populate value mapping table either in directory

or you can do it via mass replication (populate it from ABAP raport or java

report)
