Restrict MRP Type

Hello Experts,

Can we restrict users from using specific MRP Types.

For eg. we have requirement where we have to restrict the users from selecting MRP Type "ND". Is this possible.

You can restrct for few user with Transaction Variant SHD0, you may check this document

Dear Srinu,

Iam looking at restricting the options available for the MRP Type field in MM01. There are various options like PD,VV,ND etc. I want users to select only PD and restrict users from selecting VV & ND Options.

I think you can restrict those specific fields for certain users. Usually some basic authorization is given for many users in MM01/MM02 .However for some critical fields like MRP type field should be given to relavant users only. This you can sit with SAP security/Basis team so that they will control this.
