REST PUT using SOAP Axis

Hi

has anybody used the SOAP Axis to do a PUT to a REST web service ? (I don't have the REST adapter !)    I see lots of examples for GET.

I can get it it working with Smartbear's SOAPUI no problem but I'm a little lost on what settings are needed for SOAP HTTP (Axis).

I've tried all type of combinations in the SAP channel.. as I'm guessing here.

With this latest attempt I get Message processing failed. Cause: org.xml.sax.SAXException: Processing instructions are not allowed within SOAP
messages.

I ran the XPI Inspector on the channel and can see that the SOAP envelope is not being removed as I thought it should be by that parameter "set enableREST". !   I'd not entered the order of the mc module correctly.   Now it is number 3 on the list above (I had it as the last one !).

Now the channel works.
