Connect from SAP NW PI 7.31 (JDBC Adapter) to RDBMS Oracle via SAP Router

Hi guru

We have to connect from SAP NW PI 7.31 (JDBC Adapter) to RDBMS Oracle via SAP Router.

I did not find any information about this capability.

Could you explain, we can do this or not?

Hi Kanstantin,

SAP router is act as a proxy between SAP and SAP or SAP and external system. It is installed on SAP. Please refer the below help page

so i think you need to connect the JDBC server via SAProuter proxy and use the sap router proxy address in configuration.

Hi,

yes yes you can connect to oracle via sap router. Make sure that sap router is installed on pi server.
