I need some information SAP process Integration(PI)
1. Is SAP PI is technical module?
2. if it is a technical module then what is its scope when compared to ABAP ?

ABAP is a programing language
PI is middleware... It's a product by itself.
A simple google search would answer that..

In very simple words, SAP PI is the Enterprise Service Bus, Middleware or an Integration solution from SAP.
Some of its counterparts in the market are Webmethods, TIBCO etc.

I got to work on SAP ABAP or SAP PI. So i am in confusion for what to choose in between them. So what is the scope of ABAP and PI in future.
