when started sapmmc some workprocess status is waiting and some work process status is ended

Hi experts,

i started sap mmc at Os level.It is started.we have total 10 dialog workprocess but 5 work process status is waiting and 5 workprocess status is ended.

so users can able to login at sap level and do the transactions.what is the reasons please help me.

Dear Subramanyam reddy,

Kindly check the developer trace of that any ended workprocess. And most probably the workprocess will end due to insufficient allocated memory(i.e., SWAP spcae).

Check the SWAP space how much allocated and if it is less do increase the SWAP as per the available RAM.

Hi,

Can you please share devloper trace, might be some file is corrupt.

Do check connectivity from application server to database.

Will suggest to go for clean restart once again and check.

please paste/attach the logs for the WPs are ended status (dev_wx) from usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<nn>/work. and also disp+work.

please share the log dev_w0 from usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<nn>/work.

or You can find the file name dev_w0 from ST11.
