Not Getting CCMS alerts for Long Running job as soon as the job crosses threshold

Hi

We have configured CCMS alerts for long running jobs in our SAP systems and we are getting the alerts as well. But when we checked the alerts, we found that alert is getting triggered when the job completes. So it is difficult to analyses that job in real time when it is actually delaying. Is there any way we can optimize this and to get the alert in real time (As soon as the job crosses threshold)

Hi Vipul,

1) Could you check whether threshold settings are correctly defined for the MTEs under consideration.

2) Also I have seen that switching of threshold values (switching threshold values from yellow to green and red to yellow) may not be implemented correctly  due to kernel bugs. Please check and update the SAP kernel as well. There is an old SAP Note 202591 - CCMS monitoring kernel patches (composite note) for reference.
