Alerting on PI using Solution Manager

Hi Experts,

Currently we are trying to have alerts for failures in PI system(7.31) using Solution Manager 7.3.

We have maintained alert rules in NWA , and we are getting alerts for Adapter Engine failures. but We are not getting alerts for failures on Integration Engine.

Please help us to achieve this as this has been for long period since we don't have enough knowledge to get alerts for PI failures though Solution Manager.

I have followed all steps given in the post ..but I am not getting any alerts..

And should the alert consumer be always (ALERT_TO_EMAIL) or can we maintain our solman as consumer there..??

If u want to send alerts to SOLMAN then u have to put new cosumer for SOLMAN.

BTW, did u enable parameters in SXMB_ADM also as shown in the blog above?

Hi Hareesh,

Thanks for your blog..It is perfectly working...Now we are getting alerts for IE too...Earlier I didn't see alerts in my mailbox since there are number of alerts..
