Hello there,
We are planning to implement classic SRM 5.0 with SUS - MM. Now what we are trying to understand is what is the downside of it in terms of procuring service items.
Can you guys throw some light at this.
Does SUS-MM scenario support service PO items at all in the first place?
If so, what are its limitations?
Hello Arun,
I dont think It is possible to realise SUS-MM Integration for the purpose of Procuring Service Items.
I think the Scenario will be done with Service Procurement MM-SRM-SUS.
That means create Service items in MM and replicate to SRM and use these Products for Service procurement.

Thanks Mahesh,
That is exactly we were planning on doing. Further we also realised free text items are not supported in SUS-MM scenario. The exchange of documents does not take place in the standard system.
The link which you pointed out is Service procurement. I guess it is only for Standalone scenario.
Can you please confirm?
Hi
Yes you are quiet right.

Thanks Atul and Ramki.
The SUS-MMSRV in the oss note is exactly what we were looking for. It is a bit unfortunate that this is not part of standard SAP and comes only as a consulting solution.
