Changed Work Centre automatically copy to Notification in SAP PM

Hello Gurus,

My requirement is as follows.

I am creating a maintenance order (IW31) for an equipment or Functional Location. At the same time Notification is being generated in background. When I am creating a maintenance order, I use to change the Main work center and save the maintenance order, the changed main maintenance work is not being copied to Notification automatically. It is the client requirement. How to do this? Please guide.

Hi Sanjay

When the maint. order is created, it triggers a notif in background.

But the notif is not created auto when changes are done to maint. order ( similar to your case - you are changing the work center but not creating another work order).

Only when new work order is created, auto creation of notif will be generated.

If you want your scenario to work- you will need to check with ABAP team if they can create some logic/zrfc to suit the functionality in your case.

process can be similar to case if you can come to know work order is being saved again with changes, call notif explicitly in background.. I guess abap team can be better able to help you out.
