Entered Value not Getting Erased

Hi experts,

I have a small problem during configuration. The scenario is as below.

I have three characteristics; AB_X, AB_Y, AB_Z

AB_Y does not have any values and any value is entered during configuration

AB_Z has predefined values.

The scenario is AB_Y and AB_Z should be applicable only if AB_X value is selected. AB_X also has a "No" value. If No value is selected, then AB_Y and AB_Z should disappear. Also, AB_Y and AB_Z becomes mandatory if AB_X is selected.

I have achieved this through the usage of preconditions and selection conditions.

However, if I make the value of AB_X as No, even though AB_Y and AB_Z gets disappeared, the value previously entered in these two characteristics does not get erased or deleted and system is throwing an inconsistency maybe because the values are not getting deleted.

I request any of you to please help me how to tackle this.
