how to send notifications when there any changes in Metapedia terms

Hi Vamsi,

There are no notifications for those type of changes. The changes should show up in the results of the terms. Only Data Insight has notifications that can be sent out.

Hi,

To check which metapedia term got changed and who changed it we can set a email notification in CMC & Information steward.

CMC steps for email notification:

To set up a user email address for email notifications:

1. Select Users and Groups from the CMC Home drop down menu.

2. Click User List from the navigation tree at left. list of all users appears at right.

3. Select the applicable user name and click Manage Properties .

4. Complete the Email parameter with the appropriate email address.

5. Click Save & Close.

IS steps for email notification:

go to Manage--->preferences-->check mark the email notification button-->save it.

Hi Krishna,

Have you tested the above for IS? There might be something more to do then just add a checkmark.

Unless this is a different version. I've not worked in IS since Feb.
