Variant function: Creating from third party software

Hi Team,

My client has a third party software which is currently integrating with SAP LO-VC. They are able to create a Variant function by the API "CAMA_FUNCTION_MAINTAIN' but not able to create the Function Module. So, can any one suggest me how we can have the Function Module created (with the Logic) from third party software?
