SAP Solution Manager 7.1

Hi,

When i Start my solution manager system i get a message in the MMC "msg_server.exe running but not responding" and nothing strats.

Only when i manually starts second instance does the SAP system start.

Solution Manager 7.1

Windows Server 2008 R2

Please suggest.

Hello Raj,

Try to upgrade mmc console you can download mmc patches from service.sap.com/swdc search-> Search for Support Packages and Patches search sap mmc.

check the logs under <installation_drive>\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\work and attach below logs

dev_w0

Hi Rajdatt,

Start the SAP Management Console from a

Web browser on your host

for

example,

http://<hostname>:5$$13  ($$ represents the instance number) or https://(if SSL is configured)

if it is working ok then it should not be the problem with MMC.

Is your only MMC not responding or it is the whole server?

Please check the OS performance and CPU usage.

Considering the downtime for your productive system,if necessary reboot your windows system or contact your server admin team for root cause analysis.

Hi,

This morning, I upgraded the SAP Kernel.  No change.


MMC also updated before few days.

you issue is SAP not coming up right? then please attach the logs as i mentioned earlier.

you are getting below error in dev_disp:

>>SapTimer error. SapTime differs from Windows time.

>>SapTimer error. Time may be incorrect on your system

Have you changed your OS time manually?

Try restarting the SAP system and DB manually.
