condition unit in VK11

Hi Experts:

When I go to VK11 to create a condition record for ZABC, default condition unit is KG.

I would like to default it to LB/CWT.

Can I achieve this through config or will it be enhancement?

Cond type - ZABC

cond class - discounts

calc type - gross weight

cond category - freight

group cond - YES

Scales - UOM = CWT

Please share your thoughts.

Hi. First, in V/06 (edit Condition Type), check "Unit of measure" in Scales block. It will work.

But if don't work, in transaction CUNI, por Units of measurement from MASS dimention, you must declare LB/CWT like std unit, with "Declare SI unit" button. Take note that is cross definition.

Thanks! I tried the first option (scales block) before posting on this site. It did not work for me.

Your 2nd option (CUNI), when I select LB and click on 'Declare SI Unit', it is taking me to next screen. However, I don't see an option to add new entry. Only  'KG' exists there, and this is the default radio button that's selected.

Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong, or need to do something else.

Forgot second solution... First is correct way... Check, for example, std condition K029. I test changing the unit and it works.

I copied K029 to ZK29 and changed UOM to LB in 'Scales block'. It did not work for me. It came up with KG as UOM.

Anything else I should think?
