STOCK in DEMAND PLANNING BOOK

Hi Gurus,

We have a requirement from client to Showcase " Stock on hand" in Demand Planning screen.

I understand that Stock is order series data while DP works on Time Series,

Is this feasible?

Regards.

Hi DK,

One way of doing it is to create datasource on SNP planning area. Extract key figure storing stock on hand from SNP to cube and thereafter load to DP planning area mapping to different key figure (for stock on hand).

But this stock information will be not real time and will correspond to stock at time of extraction.

Hello Denish,

Yes, it can be done.

Please refer Transaction code /SAPAPO/LCOUT which helps in transferring Order series data into Time series key figure.

It is correct - Stock on hand is Order Series data and DP works on Time Series.

You specify Target Planning area(DP) and the version. In Key figure Assignment you will specify order category from which you want to copy the data into your DP Key figure.

Just FYI, /SAPAPO/LCIN - Opposite way   (Time Series --> To---> Order Series)  and

/SAPAPO/LCOUT - Release to Demand Planning   (Order Series --> To---> Time Series)

Hope this will help.

Thank you
