Hi Sam,

Option 1: If you want to copy the entire data from existing system to new system, you may use system copy method with export/import option. You need to refer system copy guide for the details and steps.

Ensure that source and target SAP release is same.

Option 2: If you need only selective date for eg: Configuration & user masters

You can install a fresh system with same patch level like existing SAP system.

Perform client export from source using SAP_CUST for customizing & SAP_USER for users & profiles. Copy the export files and import the same into target system.

Hope this helps.

you can't extract the data from the SAP based on the company. You can use database tool to copy the database ie system copies (homogenous or heterogeneous system copies depends on your requirement). There a guide for this under service.sap.com/instguides.

Hi Sunil,

you can't extract the data from the SAP based on the company.

This is not correct. Using SAP SLO tools we can achieve this. Point to note here is SLO tools are licensed and activities of data extraction is done by SAP consulting team only.

SLO tools are handy during company de-mergers

Hope this helps.
