Imm TO - PCN TO / Conf - Putaway TO conf

Hi Experts,

Below is my required and configured inward WM business process :

Storage Type - Fixed Bin storage type

Putaway strategy - F - Fixed bins

BINS - Fixed Bin holding different material

Mixed storage and Addition to stock - X - i.e allowed.

After GR - Immediate TO - UD - PCN - PCT (Manual TO of PCN ) - Auto TO confirmation (PCN TO ) - Putaway TO confirmation.

1.Immediate TO after GR creates a quant in Bin but it still not cleared from quality.

2.After UD PCN get created ,When we are trying to create a TO system throws below error :

" Message L3094 'No quant exists for posting changes "

After analysis i found that system updates last GR doc number in quant which gets unmatched with latest GR doc no.

So solve this issue i check in SCN forum i got some permanent solution like changing the GR number in PCN.

Also i have check with SAP NOTE 389492 but  even this is not fullfilling the business requirement.

So what is the best solution for this requirement.

Hi Om,

Are you also confirming the TO created immediately after GR? If this TO is confirmed you should not face any issues with immediate TO creation and confirmation after UD.

No first we are creating and confiming the TO for PCN.

Once quality lot gets clear then we confirm the TO(immediate TO)

Hi Om,

If you create a TO immediately on GR, you must also confirm it immediately otherwise the TO for PCN will fail.

Alternatively, do not create TO immediately on GR. Let the UD and subsequent TO from PCN get processed. Then proceed to create TO w.r.t. TR created at the time of GR.

Thanks for your post and your time.

You mean that there is no possiblity for scenario my business is expecting :

GR > Immediate TO > UD-PCN-TO-Confirmation > Immediate TO confirmation

In this scenario we are getting quant issue at PCN to TO creation .
