CCM; Mapping problem between supplier and master catalog

CCM: Data from the supplier catalog created single characteristic do not map to the master catalog. I.e. added a new schema characteristic in supplier and master catalog for "Weight". Weight data loads into supplier catalog but does not map to master catalog.

I looked at all the thread and found not reference as to why the data in my supplier catalog do not mapped to the master catalog for those new characteristics I have created in the supplier and master schema.

IE

Supplier Cat Schema

Characteristic WEIGHT /CCM/NAME FALSE Weight

Supplier Content

Item Valuation Category ID /ccm/supplier_name /ccm/product_group WEIGHT

Hi Joe,

Maintain the new characteristic in both the Supplier and Master Schema.

Try to map manually once and try to see while mapping in field "MAP CONTENT" can be seen on both sides .

If it is selected automatically there will not be any problem your work is done.

If the new characteristic is not selected automatically on both sides then you have to add it manually.

Try to do this i hope this will help you.

All the other /CCM fields are content are mapped over to the master catalog but the new characteristic at the schema level do not map over the content

/CCM/PRICE_BASIS_QUANTITY Base Unit of Measure

/CCM/PRODUCT_GROUP_REBATE Discount for Product Group

/CCM/SHORT_DESCRIPTION Short Description

/CCM/SUPPLIER_ID Supplier ID

WEIGHT Weight

The new characteristic is WEIGHT

Hi Joe,

It seems to me that you have not maintained the new characteristic WEIGHT on Master Catalog side

i.e Try to keep this New Characteristic on Supplier file and on Master file .

If you are sure then try to map the content again .If i am not right pls correct me.
