can we schedule job in PI to send data from Receiver File adapter

Hi Experts,

I need to send file from PI to client at a particular time and one by one.

I tried use ATP in receiver file adapter but it is not working. Can any one please suggest. I need urgent help.

Hi Swanashree,

Option1:Suggestion is to Configure ATP for the sender channel.

Option2: would be to place the files in temp folder and create a passthrough scenario which has ATP in your sender channel

Option3:to place the files in temp folder and then handle the file with the script.

Hi Swapnshree,

you can only schedule the sender interface. But to send from PI you still need some sender interface. In these cases I have created a sender interface which is only a file adapter polling a trigger file with the ATP scheduling. The trigger file is lying on the filesystem of the PI system and is polled to start the process to be able to send the receiver interface.

Hello Swanashree,

I would suggest to configure ATP for the sender channel if it is possible.

Else, let the receiver put the file in a temp folder as and when sender sends the data.

Configure another File-to-File pass through scenario and do ATP for this one.
