and when I run the same in Chrome I am getting the "forward location error". Can any one tell me is that I have to update any other patch for using the i5grid and charts or is that browser problem?

Please let me know if any?

Since I am running the same i5Grid and Chart in MII 14.0 SP4 patch 0 without any error in chrome.

Hi All,

When I tried to pass the normal simulated tag query into i5Grid the Grid Datetime is showing "Nan:Nan:Nan:"

but when I changed the Datetime as string in the BLS and then pass to i5Grid then it is showing date.

I guess the problem with the input of the i5Grid, which is not taking input as datetime.

Can any one please help me with the solution?

Hi Ria,

Is that SAP Knows about the problem?

When will be the next patch will be released?

But this is working fine in patch0. As per SAP Note we cant degrade the patch. How to go with?

Hi Experts,

Going forward on same thread - on MII 14 SP04 Patch 0, I'm getting JS error while rendering i5Grid from my workbench. The error is -

But when I render the same query data through i5Chart, it displays properly.

Is this a patch issue or I need to look into somewhere else ?

Appreciate your help.

Hi Sumit,

Can you please let us know the SAP UI5 version on the server?

You can use the following command on browser console: sap.ui.version

And which is the browser are you trying on.. ?

I think it is something to do with the SAP UI5 version's support with i5Grid and not an issue with i5Grid.

Hi Ria,

Thanks for quick reply.

sap.ui.version is 1.8.7.

I've tried rendering the i5Grid in IE-9 and Chrome (V34) as well, but both cannot display i5Grid.

Hi Sumit,

MII SP04 charts and grids are supported with SAP UI5 version 1.14.x

Hence please upgrade your SAP UI5 sca's to the above mentioned version and let us know.

Hi Ria,

As you said the date time issue will be resolved in next patch.

Right now I have installed patch3 which is been released on 17th March. Even though I am facing the same issue. My datetime appears as "NaN".

Please advice.

Hi Partheeban,

Sorry to hear this. However the datetime issue should have been resolved with this patch. Can you please clear browser cache and try once.

I tried only i5Chart and it works for me.

Hi Ria,

I ran both i5Chart and i5Grid.

The issues are:

1. iGrid -> Date is not displaying correctly in both iGrid and in Display Time Bar.

2. iChart -> Date displaying correctly in the chart but not in the Display Time Bar.

Please check and let me know is that you observer the same and let me know the solution?

Hi Partheeban,

I too tried both i5Chart & i5Grid, and my observations are as given below:

1. In i5Grid, DateTime field when added as a column, displays NaN/NaN/0NaN NaN:NaN:NaN

However, in Display TimeBar date appears properly.

2. In i5Chart, DateTime is displayed properly in both cases.

I checked the same using a TagQuery that gets data from Default Simulator and with the basic configuration for i5Chart & i5Grid. Please let me know the configuration you are using for i5Chart & i5Grid

Anyway for case 1 you can raise a ticket with SAP.

Hi,

As per the SAP note we cant degrade the patch. Also I have got a chance of testing the issues in 14.0 patch 0. Their also I am facing the same issues. So no need of patch degrade.

But the issues below

1. see this link iChart Label Depth Issue.Same I am faciing.

2. The SQL Query template cannot show the results for Store procedures and queries which are using "Insert Into" statements.

SQL query eg:

declare @TempTable TABLE (

ID int,

Date datetime,

Name char(20))

INSERT INTO @TempTable (ID, Date, Name)

SELECT '1' as id, '2104-Mar-10' as Date,'par' as name

select * from @TempTable

This is not giving result.

Please let me know if you have any solution?

Hi Partheeban,

The screenshot of the chart that you have shown is using iChart, did you try the same using i5Chart?

LineChart using iChart works fine for me, it could probably be due to some configuration or data.

If possible please share the data that you are passing to the chart and then we can try the same with iChart and i5Chart.

Regarding the SQL query template I donot have much idea, will have to try something out.

Thanks,

Ria

HI Ria,

I don't want to go for i5chart I am using custom ichart. I use just stimulated Tag query as the input. Which version of MII your using. For me the Label is cutting. Please pass and let me know?

For SQL it is a bug I guess since its not working properly in patch0 also.

Hi Ria,

If possible can you send me the ichart which is working for you (mean label depth is not cutting) to "gg_parthee@yahoo.co.in".

Hi Partheeban,

From the error that you are getting, it looks like SAP UI5 is not deployed on your server.

Can you please check if this works for you: http://camkh1mcccas001:50000/sapui5/resources/sap-ui-core.js

sap-ui-core.js would internally load jQuery library and you shouldn't see the above errors.

Hope this helps!

HI Ria,

The URL throws the error as "Request Does not exist".

Can you please tell how to deploy that components.

I have applied latest patch "SAPMII 14.0 SP04 patch2" and run the SUM.

Hi Partheeban,

Please mention the NW version that your MII instance is running on.

Hi Ria,

Its SAP EHP1 for NW 7.3. Then used SUM sp09 and deployed the SAP MII 14.0 SP4 Patch 2.

The SCA files are below.

These are all the lates patches I found.

MIIADMIN04P_1-10008695.SCA

MIIBUILDT04_0-10008718.SCA

XMII04P_2-10008694.SCA

XMIIMIGRATION04_0-10008697.SCA

let me know what would be the issue?

Else tell me is that going for patch "0" will be helpful. Let me know how to revert back it.

Hi Partheeban,

NW 7.30 SP09 should have UI5 bundled with it, however you can download UI5 sca (UISAPUI5JAVA*.sca) from SMP and deploy that. Sorry I'm not very sure about the exact name of the sca.

MII 14.0 SP04 charts and grids should work with SAP UI5 1.14.* or higher.

Hi Ria,

Is that can I deploy that SCA file with below SCA files or how?

MIIADMIN04P_1-10008695.SCA

MIIBUILDT04_0-10008718.SCA

XMII04P_2-10008694.SCA

XMIIMIGRATION04_0-10008697.SCA

You can download SAP UI5 sca and separately deploy it(in the same way that you have deployed MII sca files).

Once UI5 sca is deployed successfully, i5Chart & i5Grid should start working for you.

Hi Ria,

Thanks a lot... I have deployed the UISAPUI5JAVA10_0-20009678.SCA files and I got it working.

I have another doubt. I want to revert back to the old patch. Means patch 2 to patch 0( XMII "XMII04P_2-10008694.SCA" to "XMII04_0-10008694.SCA").

When I try to deploy the "XMII04_0-10008694.SCA" SUM is not showing this. Can you please help out?

Hi Partheeban,

You mean to say you are trying to deploy patch 0 through SUM tool and it doesn't work. Is it throwing some error? How did you deploy UI5 sca..? I think the same way you should be able to deploy patch 0 also.

One more thing, just curious to know why you want to revert to patch 0 even after you have patch 2 working.

Hi Ria,

Right now two problems I am facing.

1. see this link Same I am faciing.

2. The SQL Query template cannot show the results for Store procedures and queries which are using "Insert Into" statements.

So I guess this will be not there when you go for the old patch.

Can you address this two issues?

Else tell me the solution for deploying the old patch. Since the patch is present in the server when I tried to deploy this "XMII04_0-10008694.SCA" file. It is showing no applicable files present.

Please let me know?
