Accessing VA01 tcode directly from Persona URL

Hi,

We have integrated Personas in Portal using bsp iview with persona url http(s)://host:port/bc/bsp/persos/mainapp/index.html?sap-client=XXX.

Please let me know how can i have a user access only VA01 tcode with flavor assigned.

In the Personas admin transaction create a "ShortLink". This will generate a URL that will run a specified transaction with a specified flavor. You should then be able to use that URL in your iview.

Do you know if this works without using an iView? I have built a flavor directly in transaction PA30 without first building any sort of cockpit in SMEN. I would like to give the users a link that bypasses SMEN and goes directly to PA30, but the shortlink doesn't seem to be working this way.

Nevermind, I found the answer in Note 1826286

To open a specific transaction, you just have to add  &~transaction=<tcode>  after the client information in the URL.

Hi Cheryl,

Personas will accept all the url parameters which are accepted by WEBGUI too.

So, ~transaction is actually a webgui url parameter

Its commonly used to skip initial screens by prefilling the fields.
