SAP Fiori Timesheet - IE9 Issues

Hi All,

We're currently experiencing some issues with the Fiori My Timesheet App.

Time that is displayed in CAT2 for a user is not displayed in the My Timesheet App in IE9.  However, it is displayed correctly in Chrome.

Has anyone else experienced issues while using this app in IE9?  If so, how did you resolve it?

We're on the latest service pack, UISRA002 100 SP03, released earlier this week.

Thanks,

Erin

Hi Erin,

By any chance is IE taking some other user/cached user?

can you checked the Login details from the icon on top right corner and let know if users are same in IE and chrome.

Best Regards

IE is not taking another user as the user has only logged in using his user id.  I have confirmed that the users are the same in chrome and in IE.

This is something that is happening intermittently with IE and can't be steadily reproduced.

However, we are experiencing other issues that are IE specific as well.  These can however be steadily reproduced in IE and are not present in Chrome. These include:

  1. Time Approval launch page tile is not updating with the number of timesheets to be approved
  2. When creating a new entry, the user scrolls down in the “Suggested” list to choose a valid WBS element.  The next time they go to create a new entry, the suggested list is scrolled down to the position of the last selected WBS element so user has to scroll back to the top to view the “Add” option.

Hi Erin,

Could you please check the console in IE for the Summary Collection for Approve Timesheets.

/sap/opu/odata/sap/SRA010_TIMESHEET_APPROVAL_SRV/Summary

Does this call gives you any error in IE?

Best Regards

Hi Vasilios - that note has already been applied and hasn't resolved the issues described above. Thanks!

Hi Erin,

And the summary collection is returning you the same content in IE and chrome?

This collection would return you a number.

<link href="SummaryCollection('123456')" rel="edit" title="Summary"/>
<content type="application/xml">
<m:properties>
<d:infoStatus/>
<d:info>Pending Entries</d:info>
<d:numberUnit/>
<d:number>7</d:number>
<d:key>123456</d:key>
</m:properties>
</content>

Best Regards
