SAP WM with storage unit management - using HU data for good receipt

Hi all,

actually we have  SAP WM setup to use the full handling unit management in Warehouse. After some years we detected that the HU managed

Warehouse is not the best solution for our business.

The plan is, to roll the stock back to a WM with simple storage unit management. (one handling unit will be one storage unit).

The main advantage of the HU management was, to use the Handling Unit data from inbound delivery (comes from a plant in the same client) and post the HU - inluded all different materials - from the inbound delivery to the final storage bin in one shot.

This advantage we want to keep.

I am searching for a possibility to use the HU data from the inbound delivery  (vekp and vepo table) to create  a storage unit during good receipt flow.

So my expectation is:  1 HU (with all content) = 1 storage unit
