Deployment Heuristics with Schedule line Agreement Scenario in SNP

Hi,

We have a scenario where client is using stock transfer scheduling agreement in ECC. We have brought this agreement as a source list in APO.

After Executing Heuristic system creates schedule lines . System is working fine till this step. We want to execute deployment planning as well on source plant. While executing deployment heuristic , unlike purchase requisition scenario system is not creating any Dep: stock transfer orders and reducing/confirming any quantity of schedule lines which were created by SNP run.

Could you please let me know if deployment run can work with Scheduling agreement scenario ? if yes is there any special setting to do that ?

Hi Dharmesh,

Could you please check the ATP category assignment in the deployment heuristic run.

The category group maintained in the location master or material master ( ATD Quantity ) should contain ATP category of schedule line. If this is not included in the ATP group than please assign in it. It is a configuration setting.

Please try this.

Hi Kishor,

ATP catergory assignments are more to calculate ATD quantity. Let's say i want to include only stock in my ATD quantity calculation. I have 100 unit of stock available for one material. Lets think of following two scenarios.

Scenario - 1 With PR

Stock = ATD=100 one PR created by SNP run for 200 .Then i execute Deployment Heuristic result after deployment run is Dep:PR for 100 and SNP PR quantity gets reduced to 100 , works well as expected.

Scenario- 2 With Schedule lines

Stock=ATD=100 one schedule line created by SNP run for 200.when i execute Deployment Heuristic nothing changes.

So my problem is why schedule lines are not behaving same as PR. I don't want to include PR or schedule lines in my ATD calculation. do we have any solution for this ?

Try running real time deployment in this scenario from snp02.

Hi Vinay,

SNP02 does not read/create any Scheduling agreements/schedule lines. Anyways i have tried it with no luck. Could you please let me know if i am missing something or is there anyway to achieve it ?

Excuse me if i dont understand your issue correctly. But when you say

What is you deployment setting?

In your deployment profile if you set 'reduce' the Purchase reqs generated by Heuristics will be reduced and confirmed. On the other hand if you want only deployment confirmed purchase reqs select the 'delete' option. This will generate only the confirmed requisitions based on the available ATD receipts during deployment run.

Hi Sai,

I am not having purchase requisition. My Heuristic run creates schedule lines  via schedule line agreement. I know if we have Purchase requisition Deployment run will reduce the quantity of PR and create confirmed requisition. My issue is i am working with schedule lines instead of PR. So question is can deployment run reduce/delete schedule lines as well like PR. ?
