Hi All,
I have configured Charm copying the standard transaction type.
I am facing a authorization problem when assigning a project to a CR.
The Error appears whenever we assign a project to CR. I tried with standard transaction also but still the error is there.
the error message is
" you are not authorized to use this function"
for the admin ID with SAP_ALL authorization this error message is not coming.
it appears for the change manager composite role.
kindly guide in resolving the error
Thanks,
Subhashini
Hi Subhashini,
Verify if the user has been assigned authorization object CRM_APPRVL with activity of 01, 02 and 03.
Kindest regards
Paul

Dear Subhashini,
SAP provide some specific roles for CHARM,
for example:
SAP_CHANGEMAN_ADMIN | SAP Change Manager Administration Authorization |
SAP_CHANGEMAN_DEVELOPER | SAP Change Manager Developer |
SAP_CHANGEMAN_OPERATOR | SAP Change Manager IT Operator |
SAP_CHANGEMAN_PROJECTASSISTANT | SAP Change Manager Project Assistant |
SAP_CHANGEMAN_PROJECTLEAD | SAP Change Manager Project Lead |
SAP_CHANGEMGMT_ADMIN | |
SAP_CHANGEMGMT_CREATE | Role for Change Management Creator |
SAP_CHANGEMGMT_DISPLAY | Role for Change Management Display User |
SAP_CHANGEMGMT_PROCESS | Role for Change Management Processor |
assign above roles to user and check.
Thanks & Regards,
V Srinivasan

Hi Srinivasan,
thanks for your inputs.
The Roles you have specified is old. I have followed the security guide and change manager composite role is assigned which has all the authorizations that is specified by you.
but the project assignment authorization alone is missed.
Kindly guide to resolve the authorization problem
Thanks,
Subhashini
