Regarding System copy

Dear friends,

We have a development server which belongs to one company,

can we use the same development server for other company,by using system copy.if yes then plz let me know the procedure,and what are the prerequisites.

if no, then plz let me know the reasons.

-> sap release?

-> you can perform a homogeneous system copy either by using r3load mchanism or by using (oracle i presume?) brbackup/brarchive

-> get the leatest installation guide and the appropriate sapnotes

plz keep in mind that you might need extra disk space, extra memory and extra cpu - depending on the actual configuration...

you can create another SID on the same server, its equal to another instnace on same box.
