EDI 852 requirement mapping

Hi All,

We have to configure EDI 852 scenario using Seeburger Adapter. We have xsd of 852, what else I need to start the develeopment?

Do I need to create the Mapping using BIC mapping, if yes then from where I can get the BIC mapping tool?

Or we have standard mapping provided by seeburger?

Please advice.

Krishna Chauhan

Krishna,

The above document is old and it is only applicable to XI 3.0/7.0. You would require new BIC tool for deploying the mapping.

For more details, find my email id in outlook 🙂

Hi,

the BIC Mappings (1:1 format conversion from ANSI X12 852 to an XWM equivalent) can quickly be created with the BIC Mapping-Designer.

Any Adapter-DVD that contains this BIC-functionality also includes the BIC MappingDesigner to allow customers to create the Format-Conversions for all kind of messages.

Please refer to the Installation-DVD for your Adapter.

Other than this, feel free to contact me directly to check the required next steps...

Kind Regards

Stefan

Hi Krishna,

First of all you have to do EDI 852 mapping in BIC... It is simple mapping to use to convert EDI852 to EDI852xnl and vice versa...

Create BIC mapping and generate sda and sca file and import those things in PI.

Later do the EDI 852 mapping in SAP PI. And call this BIC mapping in  ADAPTER module..
