Job Import

Hi Team,

We are in the process of implementing SAP SOLMAN JSM for job scheduling. When we import jobs from SAP system/SAP CPS system, do we get scheduling information too ?

Do we need to manually schedule jobs from SOLMAN  after job import or job scheduling will happen automatically as per the schedule after import?. Please advice.

Hi,

Job import picks all the scheduling information too, you are not required to change anything in the job documentation, Just directly schedule it.

So If I import 1000 jobs into SOLMAN,then I need to manually schedule all 1000 jobs in SOLMAN. Is this correct?

Hi,

not exactly, It depends on jobs existing status or the change you made, for instance if you import already released job i suppose in this case not required to schedule again?
