Hello Experts,
Suppose i have 10 units of Mat A and for units TO has been created but not yet confirmed.
When user is issuing(301 or 311) the 20 units of Mat A ,material document is being created .
And at time of picking system is not allowing to create TO.
So is there any standard functionality where system can check the stock at bin level to match the issuing quantity ?
Thank you..
Regards,
Your story is confusing.
why can you issue 20 if you have just 10?
why do you want to check the WM inventory when you do a MM movement?
If that would be needed, then it is nothing else than an evidence that your stocks in IM and WM are inconsistent

Hello Jurgen,
Please correct me if am going wrong anyway anywhere :
Sto loc SL01 = 10 units
Cureent stock in Bin A = 10 units and GR has been done of 10 units for the same Bin A.
Putaway TO has been created for 10 units but not yet confirmed.
Now the stock in SL01 = 20 units
Whenever we do goods issue system first checks the stock in storage location.
Due to which system allows to do IM transaction but restrict the user during WM transaction .
Please correct me if am wrong anywhere.
Thanks
Hello Jurgen,
I agree with you but here business requirement is different.
Outbound process is depend on Inward process.
Due to huge material transaction business don't have time to check the stock one by one.
Therefore the want to check the stock at bins during IM movement.
So what you suggest ?
Regards,
I do not understand why it has to be checked at the bins at all.
if you would use cross docking, then you could really save time and movements, because you could avoid to putaway the stock prior to picking it again, you could directly go from receiving area to goods issue area without going through the bins.
