Restablish BW Connection - Error

Hi folks,

After a Homogenous System copy, I am not able to stableish a communication between my APO and BW system.,

I am facing the following error during the RSA1 procedure:

Please enter a valid receiver port

Diagnosis

An entry with the key /<SID>LNT070/LS//RSSEND//// is to be inserted in table

EDP13.

The specified receiver port 'A000000072' is not valid.

I  tried to create the port A000000072 but the system does not allow and I removed the RESEND parameters from we20 but none of them worked.

please check the entries in SECSTORE (t-code) i bet you will see red entries.

Hi folks,

I cannot use the restore procedure because the source systems came from production system. Accroding to OSS 886102 note I have to delete all of them and create the source systems again.

Hi folks, The issue was solved after removing the port entry from EDIPOA table.

Hi Marilia,

As Abhishek metioned ,you can restore the source system from BW .Go to RSA1 -> source system -> highlight the APO system -> right click -> select "Restore"

If it does not help ,then check for permission . It may be due to missing permissions, can be either in source system or target system.

Check Note 140276 - Error in source system assignment also.

Hi,

Open client in both systems and do restore for source system.

It will rectify all such communication errors.
