Integration over OCI protocol

Hi everybody.

¿Have you ever integrated PI with a system which use OCI protocol?  Is that even possible?

Could you explain your feedback about it?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards.

Hi Chris - Have a look at the below threads if it helps incase you are referring to Oracle Call Interface

http://scn.sap.com/thread/67911

http://scn.sap.com/thread/1052878

and the SAP Note :

Hi Haresh.

Thanks a lot. I'm talking about Open Catalog Interface. I think that there is a XML versión and so it could be integrated with PI.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards.

Christian.

Hi Chris - Thanks for confirming.

As per the documentation i see that - http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c02f9939-e6ce-2d10-4687-af99e1847...

"Previously catalogs were accessed using HTTP method HTTP GET. Now the standard

catalog call method is HTTP POST. However, you can switch to HTTP method HTTP GET by

selecting the flag

Call catalog using GET in Customizing activity Define catalogs"

In addition as you mentioned (i can see that in the above document too), it has an XML version too.. so you can integrate using PI
