Transport from DEV to QUAL?

Former Member

Hi,

I want to transport all objects under a certain namespace as well as the namespace.....Transporting it for the first time

from DEV to QUALITY.

Process followed:

Tools > Selection of software component version > in Object Set selected 'All objects of individual namespaces' >Selected only 1 namespace.

There are 2 checkboxes: With software component version definition & with namespace definition.

Which one should i check?

i want to transport a single namespace?

Using method manual import/export.

Thanks & Regards,

Vinit Deshmukh.

Hi Vinit

If you are exporting only the content of the namespace, I will suggest you to choose the namespace definition option.

Normally I am using that one only while creating CTS and file transport and never faced any issues for that.

Hi Indrajit,

Thanks 4 the reply.

But namespace is going to be transported for the first time to quality i.e it is the first transport after development.

Then you only need to transport namespace definition with objects.

In one it is showing all objects transported....and in other it is showing 2 service interfaces transported?
