Mass Update of Project Staffing - Replace resource A with Resource B

Hi,

We have the requirement to find an option to do a mass update of project staffing when a resource leaves & is replaced by another.

Scenario :

PM (A) is staffed as Program Manager on 50 active projects,is the responsible resource for these projects & has left the company

PM (B) is replacing PM (A) and needs to be staffed as program manager for the 50 active projects & become the responsible resource.

PM (A) should be removed from the 50 projects or made inactive.

As you can imagine to do this manually for each project is very time consuming.

We would like to know if there is any mass update function to achieve the above scenario.

1624101 - Replace user/resource (resource)

Functionality is available with SP07 for 5.0, but it has to be switched on. The note

explains how to do it.
