In this string ReportName=opendocuni this parameter is actually the query name (like query 1) in the report rathe than the report document name itself

Here is a example that I have a report that I have created passing the building as a parameter to the reference report which works just fine. May be this will be helpful..
Your link does not have any block parameter reference which needs to be there..
