Solman_setup configuration for local client copy

Dear Experts,

We made a client copy from 100 to 110 in solution manager 7.1,But solman_setup configuration is missing. how we can copy the java solman_setup configuration also?

Hi Prathish,

I hope you are aware that solman is not supporting multi client concept

Hi Prathish,

always welcome.... but I hope you have understood now that solman doesn't support multi client concept.

There is nothing wrong technically to create a new client but you need to know which functionalities/module within solman support client dependent or client independent configuration

for e.g Monitoring Template are not client specific ..check below FAQ link

All is well in the system settings client 100, and in my experience I do't post copies. JAVA - is client independent.

Hi,

You can start transaction BDLS and change old system name to new system name (SLMCLNT001 -> DSMCLNT001) and started it in background mode.
