Communication Channel Monitoring: Start and Stop buttons are disabled

Hi PI Gurus,

We are on SAP PI 7.31 SP 07 stack level. Our XI Adapter Framework component was on Patch level 0005 and we updated it to patch level 00038 as per OSS note 1958104.

Now when I go back to communication channel monitoring, all buttons Start, Stop, External Control, Automatic Control are disabled.

I have appropriate role as I was able to use them before we applied patch level 00038 for XI Adapter Framework.

Can someone let me know if they have faced similar issues and have any resolution / OSS note?

your help will be rewarded as it is urgent.

Are there any compatibility matrix between patch levels for different software components? You are right that we have patched only XI Adapter Framework but not SOA monitor.

I'd like to go to Basis with next request knowing if there is any compatibility matrix and hopefully appropriate patch level for SOA monitors and other dependent software components.

Yes I have tried classic run time workbench and it is working fine. See screenshot below. We are able to start and stop channels using classic run time workbench but not from CC monitoring via monitoring home.

Please suggest !

Then i would suggest you impliment the corrections suggested in the SAP note

To be more specific - You might have just patched the AF framework but not the SOA monitors component. So i would suggest you to patch this component and see if that fixes..

I have checked mentioned OSS note but it is not applicable as my CCs are not in "Administrative Error" status. They are showing either as "Running" or "Stopped" status as of now.

I have also checked OSS note 1897804: Disabled buttons and missing tab in channel monitor. It is applicable when  the user is logged on in language different than English.

Also when we select any CC, we are not seeing processing details as well. Please see screen shot.
