Hi everybody,
I'm using PI 7.1, in comm. channel, there is JDBC adapter in the list, does that mean it has already been installed ?
If yes what value should be entered in "JDBC Driver" and "Connection" in the comm. channel ?
Thank You

Hello,

You are seeing JDBC in the drop down becoz jdbc (adapter) framework has been installed on PI box, but to make it run and connect with ur DB (SQL, oracle etc.) u have to install their drivers on PI system.
Thanks

Hi Ramesh - You have JDBC adapter but you need to install the drivers on PI system in order to connect your database.
Drivers are Database specific.
To which database you are trying to connect?
Have a look at the below SAP note for more details on JDBC adapter
831162 - FAQ: XI 3.0 / PI 7.0 / PI 7.1 / PI 7.3 JDBC Adapter
If yes what value should be entered in "JDBC Driver" and "Connection" in the comm. channel ?
