Hi all,
Currently we are facing a problem with a partner who upgraded a ERP system to SAP Basis 7.40 while PI is still running on 7.30.
Now they try to connect this system to PI 7.30 with the java Idoc adapter, as is working in other systems not yet upgraded.
Normally PI should have the highest release in the landscape (note 1043047) but since we/they are not using new functionality I would have expected it to work.
The error we are getting is Connection factory for <AAE_IDOC receiver channel> is null.
Now this could be a configuration error I expect but sofar we have not been able to find it.
What do you think, is the 740-730 connection a definite no-go or should it work?
Thanks
Tom
Hi Tom,
Any entries in SM58?
Since the ECC system is upgraded, service user roles and authorizations might be changed. please check it..
Check the RFC destinations " XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_DESTINATION " in NWA and RFC destination which you created in ECC.
In your idoc communication channel make the RFC parameters to manual.
Please go through the below steps once again and ensure everything is correct.
