FTPS - Is Implicit FTPS(port 990) supported by SAP PI?

Hi,

We are trying to using FTPS for an integration. I see SAP PI has a limitation that it doesn't supports implicit FTPS(using port 990).

I had gone through the SAP Note:1554886 - "Implicit FTPS is not supported by the XI/PI FTP Adapter".

In this SAP has recommends to use explicit FTPS(using port 21). This SAP Note is of 2011.

So, I just wanted to double check if this hold good even now, 2013. Does SAP PI still doesn't support Implicit FTPS(using port 990)?

Hi Venu - The FTP adapter still follows the RFC 4217 so AFAIK it still holds true..

The FTP Adapter application follows the RFC specification 4217 for FTPS protocol that uses explicit FTPS.
