PI Monitoring Issue - No templates available for Mapping runtime, Integration Engine

Hi All,

While configuring PI monitoring in solution manager 7.1 i am getting error in PI config step 5.3. Which says "No templates available for Mapping runtime, Integration Engine".

PI version - 7.4

SAP solman 7.1 SP7.

Hi Rohan,
First can you cehck if you have the latest Monitoring Content version 10 applied for Sp7? Refer to not 1742119 and also make sure note 1739620 is applied.

Hi Roland,

I already updated content before configuring PI Mon but it didnt help.

As far as SLD config is setup, its done in local Solman SLD..and PI domain was transferred using jar file as per SAP note 1631346.

Is there any thing else i am missing..?

Hi Rohan,

What release does the local SLD of SAP Solution Manager 7.1, is it at least release 7.02?

You could also check the logs or status files that might have

been generated while transferring the PI domain data using the central

note 1631346?

Release of local SLD is 7.02. These are some of error log while i transferred PI domain using SAP note 1631346.

com.sap.sld.api.wbem.exception.CIMException: CIM_ERR_FAILED: Instance referenced in role SystemElement of association SAP_BusinessSystemViewedBCClient does not exist:

SameElement: SAP_BusinessSystem.CreationClassName

But i am not sure whether is authorization issue or system itself not exist in PI system.

Hi Rohan,

It seems the system itself does not exist.

The error which you are noticed in the logs means that one of

the prerequisites described in SAP Note 1631346 is not met.

The picarrier tool copies and transfers only the PI objects and

associations from the source SLD. Therefore

it expects that the technical systems to which the corresponding

Business systems are connected are present in the target SLD. In this

case in SLD the corresponding technical systems are not present and that's why the errors are logged in the output from PI Carrier tool.

So in order to resolve this you should first register the systems in

The SLD as it is described in the above note in the Solution Section.

Component Mapping Runtime: SID: No Template is available.
