Dear Victor,

you can follow this url for starting & stopping Portal Services.

By Telnet:

Start - Run - Telnet hostname 50008

Enter Administrator user and password

>jump 0

>add deploy

>list_app

>start_app -all (if you want all or mention particular service name instead -all)

Eg: telnet localhost 5NN08

Replace NN with the system number.

You will need to connect with an administration user (J2EE_ADMIN or Administrator) and password.

To list the possible options - man

To list the services with the status - lss

To start a service - startservice service name

Not sure whether this will help but you may give it a shot.

Hi Victor,

You can start this service from NWA. Refer link for steps

Ensure your ID has sufficient authorization to perform the same. You may use j2ee_admin user or Administrator user to perform this operation.

Hi Victor,

So when you click on the link you land up in this error. As per error you do not have authorization to perform this.

Can you add some relevant roles and re-check.

Hope this helps.
