Hi

check if any step is worth review and its not already checked.. else ignore as it might be already Implicitly suggested

1. Check if PI system is stable (as its mentioned that it was restarted)

  •       RWB-Component monitoring- Cache connectivity Test- All components should be green.
  •     Do SLDCHECK.
  • Check if all app servers are fully up and running . SM51 txn.
  • Test by posting a message through RWB  , pls observer precaution for production scenario
  • Check if all components are registered properly- RWB SLD registration link.

2. Check SOAP UI

  • Check the User if its not locked in SU01 Transaction.
  • Url is pointing correct, reload the url by generation it again from sender agreement and create a fresh project.
  • if you are using channel name in the url , please ensure channel is started and error free status
  • Check the Payload you are using , does it has all mandatory header and data fields , use sampler and copy paste the xmls part in order to avoid issues with header.
  • check the status of message by switching to status tab in response section , if tis Http 200or  HTTP500  .check channel log if there is any entry .
  • parameters in soap ui bottom left screen must be filled all the parameters properly , your error details shows its an authorization issue

Hi Reddy,

In SOAP UI, after importing WSDL, dig it till Request1, select it and go to Request property.

Set Below things

1. Authentication Type = Preemptive

2. give username

3 give password

and send message.

Mastan

Hi Srinivas,

I have tested in RWB and i am getting error message as

Error While Sending Message: 401 Unauthorized: User password combination not valid

But user name and password are working fine.

Hi,

This error is caused due to a setting issue in SOAP UI 4.5.1. Please refer to a similar link below and set the authentication as preemptive

http://scn.sap.com/thread/3509202

If it is not solved, check the roles assigned to the user you are using and try with  PIAPPLUSER or with the same roles that this user.

Hi Reddy,

pls check like below. or other wise take url and paste it in IE and see how it is working.

option 2: try to create new project and add the url with credentials and run.

Loordh.

Hi,

The soap ui response has two format XML and raw format. When message is failed you can see the log in raw format. check the below link

Hi Sk - Was you cache refresh successfull?

And the above error message clearly states that the user is unauthorized.  Are you using the same user every time?

Make a dummy change to your object and cross check if the cache is updated.

Then regenerate wsdl and try testing with SOAP UI..

Hi Hareesh,

cache was updated successfull.

And the above error message clearly states that the user is unauthorized.  Are you using the same user every time?

yes we are using same user every time. In PRD also we are using same user & password.

In PRD its working fine but in QAS not working.

Make a dummy change to your object and cross check if the cache is updated.

Then regenerate wsdl and try testing with SOAP UI..

I have done changes and tested but no luck... 😞

Do we need to do any java restart??

Does it helps for this?

Before you restart..

in case you have dual stack system.. go to sxi_cache press(F7) and have a look at the section

"checking status of runtime cache"

If it is not updated, do a call fullcache refresh using the below URL.

http://host:port/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

Considering the fact that all other settings are done correctly, this could be an issue with version of SOAP UI you are using. Can you try using an older version. Please refer to the below link

Hi Hari,

I dont think so this is problem with version .

One more thing we asked basis team to restart java but they are unable to restart java. they are facing some issues with that

Can you check the sections in SOAP UI called error log and http log and provide more details. That would help with further details.
